Supporting Noah Homes at the Annual Summer BBQ & Brewfest

SAN DIEGO, CA | JULY 1st, 2015 McKinney Advisory Group visited Spring Valley on June 27th for Noah Homes Summer BBQ & Brewfest. Friends and families enjoyed BBQ, beers from local breweries, and like-minded individuals who joined together to support Noah Homes, a non-profit organization in San Diego. This evening was a celebration of the organization’s progress this past year. Noah Homes was able to raise nearly $200,000 towards its $6.7 million capital campaign to build housing for dementia stricken residents.

SAN DIEGO, Calif. | May 01 /CSRwire/ – On April 24, 2015 McKinney Advisory Group and Oceanside Fire Department held the Q2 Military in Transition: Firefighter for a Day Training. McKinney Advisory Group is proud to help organize a year of trainings alongside the Oceanside Fire Department. Chief Darryl Hebert of the Oceanside Fire Department, was a great resource and partner for making this event possible. Together, the vision is to provide our military in transition networking opportunities. As a “firefighter for a day”, business executives and active duty service men or women are partnered; the Oceanside Firefighters provides a hands-on firefighting experience.

Work is Where

Work Is Where the Heart Is

Last Friday, we were able to leave work early and indulge in a team bowling party. We invited our loved ones and friends and met at the bowling alley for a night of camaraderie and fun. I had such an amazing time with my coworkers, their families, and my own family. It made me think about how much time I really spend with my colleagues and what that time means to me. I realized that some weeks I am spending more time with my coworkers than I am with my friends and family outside of work.

Military in Transition (“MIT”) Firefighter for a Day

On January 23, 2015, McKinney Advisory Group held the Q1 Military in Transition: Firefighter for a Day Training. McKinney Advisory Group is proud to help organize a year of trainings with the Oceanside Fire Department. Together, our vision is to provide local military in transition the networking opportunities they need to excel in life after deployment. As a “firefighter for a day”, business executives and firefighters are partnered with active duty service men and women and learn hands-on what it is like to be a firefighter.
