Our industrial client was on the verge of substantial growth in their IT department but unable to accommodate such growth in their existing corporate headquarters building, nor their nearby facility. Due to their local prominence in this market, it was difficult to negotiate a competitive rate at a third location. McKinney needed to act quickly and aggressively on behalf of the cleint.
McKinney located several viable alternate sites in the Omaha, Nebraska market which had the capacity to accommodate the client’s size requirement under the time frame needed. Narrowing down the available options, the McKinney team worked on simultaneous negotiations.
As a result of creating competition in the marketplace, the McKinney Team was able to improve upon a pre-existing expansion option and obtain five months of rent abatement beyond what was pre-negotiated, as well as additional free parking spots within the building.
