Rocket Funding is a new San Diego based operation which relies on McKinney Advisory Group for their Southern California Real Estate needs. Rocket Funding asked the McKinney team to perform a market and property analysis for properties near central San Diego, with limited traffic, an open office floor plan, and room for growth. As a young business their location was critical for both recruiting and customer retention.
Rocket Funding is a new operation and growing quickly. They required a lease in a building with a custom office build-out, central location to client base, professional & welcoming environment for their new hires as well as open office areas. Their time line was fairly quick and their overall growth strategy meant they preferred greater flexibility in their lease for resigning or renegotiation sooner versus a long-term lease. Lastly, McKinney always takes a client’s budget seriously and it was critical that McKinney negotiate a price at or below market value to keep moving and incurring costs down for Rocket Funding.
McKinney performed extensive research of the local office market within a close proximity to many the current clientele, limited traffic area, close to executive residences. Through educating the client on the market and trends in the area the team allowed for the client to be more knowledgeable with all the opportunities presented and allowed them to make the best decision for Rocket Funding. The team personally toured all available buildings and conducted lease proposals at multiple locations for the client’s top selected properties. Within five short months, McKinney secured a property that met Rocket Funding’s financial, space, and business needs. McKinney was also able to negotiate a particularly short lease term. McKinney will stay involved with Rocket Funding to make sure their needs are continually met the length of the lease term.
